Battle Of the Bands April 9th and 10th
Save the dates! Football star and record setter Connor Ressel has agreed to emcee a Friday night event at GHS auditorium featuring top young bands Your Favorite Ex, The BF’s (Boyfriends) and The Polygroove Orchestra featuring sax sensation Alec Razdan The Runaround and Bingo Fridays all for a $10 donation. Pretty good deal, eh, And the money goes to reducing user fees and rebuilding Newell Stadium.
The Saturday tilt is as exciting as it gets: Fly Amero will headline a cast of concerned, city-spirited, gifted musicians including Alan Estes; The Willy Alexander Band, featuring the father/son Razdan horn section and Dave Vincent; The Tide featuring guitarist David Koen and the singing Baird Bros.; Sara Slifer & John Rockwell; brilliant songstress Barbara Koen and the long awaited return of Hooglio Bastisto, the singing comedian. The emcee is the queen of Gloucester singers and bon vivants, Linda Amero. Special guests will grace the proceedings. All for a $20 donation
